After Three Rounds, Wittenberg and Kohles Tied And In Hunt

The Forth round of play on Sunday is setting up to be very interesting.   As the top stories on the Tour collide and will contend for the Mylan Classic Championship.   If, the Rain holds off.

Currently they are both at -9 under and are only three strokes out of the lead behind 7 other players.   The Leader, Cliff Kresge is currently at -12.    There are three tied at -11 and -10.   Here is a Link to the Current Leader Board.

Of the 4 Players that have experience and name recognition from the PGA tour, only Jason Gore made the cut and is currently at 4 over and completely out of contention.   Lee Janzen, Paul Stankowski, and Frank Lickliter all  missed the cut.   They were all quite ordinary this week.

I mentioned the rain because the remnants of the Hurricane that dumped up to 20 inches of rain on communities in the gulf, has made it’s way north and may end up slowing down play on Sunday.   Currently the forecast is for Rain or Thundershowers scattered throughout the day.   I do not like to speculate on the weather, though I am convinced that a trained chimp could predict weather with similar accuracy as the Meteorologists do.   Nothing against them of course, but trying to predict what mother nature wants to deliver to us is…well…pretty fun if you ask me.

I plan to be on the grounds tomorrow, and will hope to broadcast from their also on The Sports Monger Radio Network.
